JoAnn’s educational background includes a teaching degree in education with continuing credits in exercise physiology, nutrition and self awareness counseling. She also has experience in personal training special forces for FBI, DEA, fire fighters along with rehabilitation training with the Pilates reformer. Other certifications and training include AFAA personal trainer, AFAA Group Exercise, AFAA Step, kick boxing with martial arts training, AFAA mat science, Bosu training, Yogafit Training with Beth Shaw, Viniyoga Training with Rodney Yee, Johnny G Spinning, Johnny G heart rate training and endurance rides, IMX Pilates reformer and mat with ring and body bar.

Fitness Philosophy: JoAnn's core beliefs as a teacher and trainer are to work towards self enrichment and the cultivation of the mind, body, and soul, thereby enhancing a high personal standard of fitness and well-being in her client’s lives.

Hobbies and Interests: Biking, hiking, gardening, cooking, reading.

When not working: Shopping of course.
